Ogle County, Illinois

Ogle County is located in Northern Illinois. It was named for Captain Joseph Ogle, who came to Illinois in 1785 as a veteran of the Revolutionary War.
The seat is Oregon, a small town along the Rock River; while the largest city is Rochelle, a larger city at the crossroads of I-88 and I-39.
It borders Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, DeKalb, Carroll, Lee and Whiteside Counties.
Main highways include I-39, I-88, US-52, US-51, IL-2, IL-26, IL-72, and IL-64.
